OCTOBER 20—Carolyn Gelland and Julieanne Reed participate in the Belfast Poetry Festival.  Jointly, they will present pairings of poems and paintings from a dreamscape they share.

Coursen during an evening of poetry, story-telling, essays and theatre written and performed by local veterans under the direction of Al D’Andrea, professional actor/director and founder of Portland’s Snowlion Repertory Company.

August 19—Carolyn Gelland and Henry Braun read some of their poems and poems by Kenneth Frost at the New Portland Library, ME, at the opening of Ron Passarella’s exhibition of paintings and drawings.

July 24—Carolyn Gelland returned to River Tree Arts, Kennebunk, ME, for a more extended reading from Kenneth Frost’s  Night Flight and his forthcoming (October 30, 2012)  Time On Its Own,  as well as from her own book, Four-Alarm House.

July 6—Carolyn Gelland read Kenneth Frost’s poem “Coring the Moon” paired with Julieanne Reed’s painting “Creator’s Rites”  at the opening of the Painters, Players & Poets exhibition at River Tree Arts, Kennebunk, ME.

June 29—Carolyn Gelland read from Four-Alarm House at Vin Master, a wine-bar/art gallery, in Charlotte, NC.

June 28—Carolyn Gelland  read from Four-Alarm House at a coffee house outside Charlotte, NC.

May 18:  Carolyn Gelland participated in another tribute to the late poet, H.R. Coursen at the Harlow Gallery in Hallowell, ME.

May 1:  Carolyn Gelland reads from Four-Alarm House and other poems at the Cornelia Street Cafe, 29 Cornelia Street, NYC, together with Pamela Laskin and Ned O'Gorman, at 6:30 pm.

April 27:  Carolyn Gelland reads from Four-Alarm House and other poems at the Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square,  Meeting Room #5, from 12-1 pm.

April 18:  Carolyn Gelland participates in 10th Annual Poets/Speak! at the Bangor Public Library, 145 Harlow Street, Bangor, ME, starting at 3:30, reading from Four-Alarm House.

April 13:  Carolyn Gelland participates in tribute to Herb Coursen together with Ted Bookey, Alice Persons and Jill Rubinson, University of Maine at Augusta, the 10th Annual Terry Plunkett Maine Poetry Festival, Richard Randall Student Center, 10:15-10:35 am.
